Leashed walks along quiet residential roads and informal shoreline paths. Best early morning or evening. Calm, scenic, very local.

Coopers Rock State Forest
About 15 minutes away. Multiple marked trails, wooded shade, cooler air. Dogs allowed on leash. Great for longer walks and views.

Morgantown Rail Trail
Flat, paved, easy strolling. Ideal for older dogs or relaxed walks. Runs along the river with benches and access points.

Deckers Creek Rail Trail
More nature-forward than the city trail. Gravel surface, forest sections, creek views. Popular with locals walking dogs.
